Downward Facing Dog Biomechanics

Ever wonder how biomechanics change during yoga? From 10 students' downward facing dog pose at the start and end of class: students gained 2x ankle flexion, 10% knee extension, 3% hip flexion, and 7.5% shoulder flexion. Expect your body to slowly (not rapidly) become more mobile during class.
